Sub-federal government procurement in the United States is worth an estimated $4.5 trillion per year (source: NASPO), but often remains a mystery to potential UK vendors. Through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with eight US states so far, and wider cooperation with the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO), the UK Government is working to change that.

The Department for Business & Trade’s UK Export Academy will deliver the latest in a series of webinars for UK businesses explaining US state government markets.  The next webinar on 29 May will focus on the state of South Carolina needs for digital solutions / tech.  Chief Procurement Officers from South Carolina and Washington State will be presenting.  The webinar will also give an insight into top tips for tendering for business in the United States and how DBT can support you.
