The economy of Quebec represents 20.36% of the total GDP of Canada. Like most industrialised countries, the economy of Quebec is based mainly on the services sector. Quebec’s economy has traditionally been fuelled by abundant natural resources, a well-developed infrastructure, and average productivity.

Quebec is also a major player in several leading-edge industries including aerospace, information technologies and software, and multimedia. Approximately 60% of the production of the Canadian aerospace industry are from Quebec. Quebec is one of North America’s leading high-tech players.

Top three trade mission goals:

  • To gain insight into the possibility of potential buyers for your products/services the state of Quebec
  • To generate potential new customers, and explore partnership opportunities with Canadian businesses
  • To gain insight into the local market including support in market, legal and financial considerations

As part of this mission, you will take part in a market awareness session in collaboration Scottish National American British Council as well as two b2b meetings.
