Another round of new funding and support is now available through the Geovation Scotland Accelerator Programme. This is offers successful applicants up to £15,000 each and access to data, mentoring and resources provides by Registers of Scotland and Ordnance Survey.
The programme is open to new businesses operating in all sectors across Scotland. The deadline for applications is 25th February. Applications are sought from companies looking to innovate with property and geospatial data, or GeoTech companies looking to provide a location-based product or service.
Over a twelve-month period, the businesses accepted onto the programme will be able to access resources including experienced software developers, property expertise from Registers of Scotland, geospatial expertise from Ordnance Survey, and mentorship on business proposals and investor relationships.
The Geovation programme already operates successfully in England, and the first Scottish round of Geovation started in Autumn last year, with a great deal of interest.
