Proposals are requested against two challenges:
- Challenge 1: Integration of the Intelligent Ship Artificial Intelligence Network (ISAIN) on Agents for Decision-Making (ADeMs) and its subsequent evaluation in partnership with Dstl.
- Challenge 2: Development of new or enhanced existing ADeMs to feed the evaluation within challenge 1.
The current call for applications relates to phase 2 of a multi-phase competition. It is however not mandatory to have participated in phase 1 to be eligible to apply.
£3 million is available to fund multiple proposals within Phase 2. The maximum funding available for challenge 1 is £1.5 million. This is expected to fund a single proposal. £250,000 per proposal are further available to fund the development of solutions that address challenge 2.
Successful contracts will be 16 months.
A briefing session will take place via teleconference on 23 June 2020.
