Tech business, Exception, recognised as a Top 50 global firm, the only one from Scotland

Digital transformation firm, Exception, has been honoured as a Top 50 Services Firm globally, and the only one based in Scotland, as judged by The Consulting Report (TCR).

Headquartered in Edinburgh, the tech company was awarded the accolade on the strength of being among “the most experienced and respected in the IT industry.” Exception was launched in 2002 and has established a proven track record in Scotland, and the wider UK, in delivering innovative digital solutions and services.

It was nominated among 50 major tech firms worldwide for IT-related services. The Consulting Report (TCR) deemed each to be unique in the way they design and deliver their solutions, providing an unmatched service and support, year-after-year.

CEO of Exception, Scott McGlinchey, enthused: “This is a brilliant award and reflects the magnificent work everyone does within our cloud and digital solutions business. I am proud of the achievement, and it truly is an entire team award that reflects everyone’s dedication and hard work at the company.”

The Consulting Report chose Exception across service firms that “provide their clients with software development, cloud migration and integration, data analytics, and application development, among many other services.”

Since their launch, the TCR Awards have achieved industry-wide recognition among corporate executives, management consultants, CTOs, CIOs, IT services professionals, institutional investors and private capital firms. Today, the awards are believed to be among the most respected accolades that can be achieved by a consulting industry executive across the technology industry.
