Expansion for Waterstons as Scottish team and client base continue to grow

Glasgow-based technology and business consultancy, Waterstons Ltd, has announced its move to a larger office near Central Station, as continued growth in its Scottish team and client base drives the need for more space.

The move comes after a period of sustained expansion for the firm in Scotland, with revenue growing 31% over the past two years. The new office more than doubles the capacity from its former West Regent Street base, supporting the company’s plans to keep growing its Scottish team.

Much of this growth has been driven by deepening relationships with Scottish clients, particularly in the energy and social housing sectors. Key partnerships with organisations including Fidra Energy and Kingdom Housing have driven more of the wider Waterstons team north of the border to help them navigate technology and business challenges as they grow.

Crucially, the new office keeps Waterstons in the heart of Glasgow city centre, reflecting the firm’s commitment to remaining accessible to clients, partners and the wider Scottish business community it has built strong relationships with over the years.

As well as accommodating a larger team, the new space has been designed with room to host events, meetings for membership organisations, client workshops and networking events. The space will also be available for clients and organisations that Waterstons works with to use for training sessions and meetings, reinforcing the business’s role as an active and collaborative member of the Scottish business community.

Colin Speirs, Scotland Regional Lead at Waterstons, said: “This move is about more than just square footage. This is a real statement of intent about our ambitions in Scotland. We’ve seen fantastic growth over the past couple of years, both in our team and in the strength of our client relationships here, and this new office gives us the space to keep building on that.

“Staying in the heart of Glasgow was really important to us. It’s where our clients are, it’s where our team wants to be, and it puts us right at the centre of the business community we’re so passionate about being part of.”
