The 2023 Digital Technology Awards shortlist showcases “The Magic of Tech”

ScotlandIS, the cluster management organisation for Scotland’s digital technology industry, have today announced the shortlist for their 13th annual Digital Technology Awards

The awards showcase the enormous talent within the tech sector, celebrating individuals and organisations across the length and breadth of the country.

This year saw an unprecedented number of nominations for the Unsung Hero category, aiming to recognise those that give up their own time and resources to give back to the community but don’t usually get the credit they deserve. Winners in the past have been nominated for supporting teachers advance their digital skills for the classroom, running coding clubs, running workshops to encourage girls into STEM, and more.

The theme of the awards this year is “The Magic of Tech”, with several surprises to look forward to on the night.

Karen Meechan, ScotlandIS CEO, commented: “I am continually astounded by the quality of the entries we receive and some of the fantastic success stories we hear from across our industry.

“This year’s shortlisted companies highlight Scotland as a true leader of innovation and talent, helping to drive the growth of the sector, and I am delighted to celebrate their achievements.”

The judging panel consisted of experts, champions, and influencers from across the digital technology industry.
