The British Embassy in Austria will be organising a two-day cyber event at the British Ambassador’s Residence on 21 and 22 November in Vienna with the opportunity to meet representatives from the Central & Eastern Europe region.
The event is being organised by the Department for Business and Trade and is an opportunity for UK based cyber companies to attend ONE or BOTH days of the event which will have two separate focuses:
- Tuesday 21 November 2023 – UK Cyber businesses will have the opportunity to present to delegates and have one-to-one meetings with representatives from government organisations (defence, interior, security), key CNI and integrators from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
- Wednesday 22 November 2023 – UK cyber businesses can present to SMEs and integrators specialising in SME cyber solutions for the Austrian market ONLY.
The delegation will consist of 20-25 UK registered cyber companies who will be pre-selected by the Department of Business & Trade taking into account preferences of potential delegates who will be attending the events.
There is a small cost for participation of £220 + VAT for one or both events (only payable if selected). The cost of airfares and hotel accommodation will be the responsibility of those attending from the company.
Please note that an expression of interest does not mean automatic selection as DBT will select companies suitable for the markets taking part.
