CyberCon 2026 is a first-of-its-kind cyber security event in Aberdeen from TechForce, created specifically for CISOs, senior executives, IT directors, and cyber security leaders who want to better understand how cyber risk impacts strategy, reputation, and business continuity.
This event is designed to bridge the gap between cyber security and leadership, focusing on real-world decision-making rather than technical deep-dives or vendor-led sales talks.
At CyberCon 2026, you’ll gain:
- Executive-level understanding of modern cyber risk
- Clarity on leadership responsibility and accountability
- Practical insight from experienced practitioners and trusted partners
- Real examples of how organisations respond when things go wrong
- The opportunity to engage in open discussion with peers
This event marks the beginning of a new forum for senior leaders to learn, question, and lead with confidence in an increasingly complex digital risk landscape.

Hornetsecurity’s latest Cybersecurity Trends Report 2026 reveals how accessible AI tools are transforming the threat landscape, fuelling a sharp rise in Ransomware attacks and a +130.92% surge in malware.
This webinar will reveal:
- Why Ransomware is resurging in 2026
- How AI is accelerating and evolving cyberattacks
- The latest data from 6 billion monthly emails revealing massive spikes in malware
- How CISOs are adopting “resilience, not perfection” as the new defence standard
The webinar will feature two key industry figures: Jake Moore, cybersecurity expert, industry commentator, and Global Cybersecurity Advisor for ESET, one of Europe’s pioneering cybersecurity companies. He will share insights on today’s evolving Ransomware threat, along with exclusive, data-driven findings, offering both detailed technical analysis and real-world perspectives.
Dr Yvonne Bernard, CTO of Hornetsecurity, the global provider of next-generation cloud-based security, compliance, backup, and security awareness solutions. With a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Dr Bernard has a deep technical background and will bring her own unique vision to the session.

Operational Technology is quickly becoming an organisation highest risk point and in 2026 it’s becoming a regulatory consideration too.
Over this four part webinar series we will be joined by guest speakers as we explore what operational and IT convergence really means for all industries, not just manufacturing and CNI; how it will be impacted by the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill and what blueprint all organisations can follow to gain resilience across their environment.
In REVEAL we’ve mapped out our assets and got full asset visibility, in DETECT we’ve set up our detection rules and we now understand what our “normal” looks like. But is this enough?
No.
Now we need to understand what to do in RESPONSE to detected malicious activity.
In this episode we’ll cover:
- The difficulties of OT response planning
- What NIS2 and The Cyber Security Resilience Bill demands of response plans
- How to conduct an effective table top exercise for OT environments
We’ll be joined by Simon Hodgkinson, former global CISO of BP and the NHS, who brings rare, real-world perspective on the practical realities of governing cyber risk in complex, high-consequence environments. Simon will share what boards and regulators expect to see, where resilience programmes typically fail, and how to design OT security that stands up under pressure.
If you’re concerned that you can’t answer the question: “How quickly can we contain an attack and can we prove we did the right things fast enough?” then this episode is for you.

Join our new series of events, ScotlandIS Tech Tidbits, on the first Tuesday of every month!
These 30 minute webinars will be short, informative sessions on a variety of topics, from exporting to cybersecurity, cloud computing to procurement, and many more.
Each event will feature a ScotlandIS member offering their expert insights and advice on the topic in hand, however you do not need to be a member to attend these talks.
For this extra webinar in February to mark Cyber Scotland Week 2026, we’ll be joined by guest speaker Debra Cairns, Managing Director of Net-Defence.
Over the past two to three years, supply chain (SC) risk has shifted from an emerging to current risk.
Supply chain risk encompasses a wide range of factors, including economic uncertainty, political instability, natural disasters, and supplier failures. However, today we will be exploring one pressing threat: cyber risk within your supply chain.
An attack on your supply chain can cause significant impact to your ability to operate if they are unable to provide products, systems, and services. Equally as damaging is a cybercriminal launching a cyberattack against you through your supply chain.
Identifying these risks can be challenging, as supply chains are often large, complex, and interconnected. Threats can emerge at any point and take many forms, whether they are inherent, introduced, or exploited by cybercriminals looking for vulnerabilities.
Learn:
- What is Supply Chain Risk & Types of Risk (Inherent/Introduced/Exploited)
- Exploited Risk
- Human Risk
- Role of email
- SC Risk Management
