brass neck, the tech content and communications consultancy and KMA Marketing, the common-sense marketing consultancy, have today announced that they have signed a strategic partnership.
The consultancies, which were both launched in 2024, are run by Kirsten Paul and Killian McAleese who each bring almost two decades of marketing and comms experience to the table. The two organisations will initially provide Droplet NeverTrustTM, the secure vault company with marketing and PR support.
Operating out of Edinburgh, but with clients spread across the UK, the two scaling organisations work with a range of organisations across a blend of sectors including technology, digital and engineering.
brass neck and KMA Marketing will support organisations across the full content, marketing and PR spectrum including owned and earned media content creation and placement, thought leadership campaigns and strategy. Supporting on a fractional basis, both consultancies have seen record growth in the first two years of operations.
Speaking about the partnership, Kirsten Paul, co-founder and director of communications at brass neck said: “In our first two years of business, we have delivered activity and campaigns for some of Scotland’s brightest tech startups and scale ups. Our strategic partnership with KMA Marketing is pivotal in shaping our next period of growth and it has been a pleasure to work with Killian so far. This move will not only extend the services which can be provided to brass neck clients and the wider tech ecosystem, it will reinforce our impact in the market.”
Killian McAleese, founder of KMA Marketing said: “The marketing and communications landscape has changed dramatically due to new technologies, new ways of working, and evolving client needs. At the same time, 2026 will undoubtedly see a renewed focus on people and craft. I’m delighted to be working with brass neck because Kirsten brings the experience, skills, and judgement needed for clients to grow and thrive, and the partnership significantly expands the services we can offer our clients.”
