Hospital acquired infections are prevalent across the globe. Surgical sites infections greatly contribute to the problem and therefore adequate decontamination of all surgical and laboratory equipment is of most importance. The problem is exacerbated by the increasing complexity of equipment and processes requiring a wide knowledge of many disciplines of science and engineering.

Aseptium’s Process challenge devices are the most clinically relevant cleaning test available on the market. Designed to challenge the worst-case scenarios in cleaning to properly scrutinise processes and ensure patient and staffs’ safety.
The Impact
VeriTest range is already used in many hospitals and laboratories around the world for both routine quality control as well as scientific research into new technologies and methods of cleaning. VeriTest Blue protein detecting reagent developed and manufactured by Aseptium was proven by research at the University of Highlands and Islands to be more accurate than other commercially available protein detecting assays. Considering it was designed to be used without a need for often very expensive ancillary equipment it is also easier to use and affordable.
Future Plans
Aseptium will continue innovating decontamination sciences and improving its current product range. Company is ready for scale up, all we need is more international partners to distribute the products. Founders would consider selling Aseptium to a large international decontamination oriented company to boost up international implementation of its products.
