Indonesia is the world’s 16th largest economy an emerging economic global powerhouse, with robust annual growth of around 5% over the past 20 years. It is forecast to be the 7 th largest economy by 2050. Modernisation and digitisation are crucial drivers of its growth, with new infrastructure projects in development, including the “100 Smart Cities Movement”. The rapid growth of Indonesia’s information and communication technology industry has driven unprecedented transformation as relationships between organisations and their customers and stakeholders take place in increasingly digitised environments.

This accelerated pace of digital change has led to a rise in cyber security threats and incidents across large businesses and public organisations, and with it a great opportunity to promote the UK’s cyber security expertise to Indonesia.

Speakers will include representatives from ADIGSI- Indonesia Cyber Security and Digital Association and officials from the British Embassy Jakarta and the Department for Business and Trade. We will also have industry insights from UK companies active in Indonesia.
