ScotlandIS, the trade body and cluster management organisation for Scotland’s digital technology industry, have today announced the shortlist for their 16th annual Digital Technology Awards.
The awards showcase the enormous talent within the tech sector, celebrating individuals and organisations across the entirety of the country.
Another shake-up in the awards categories this year saw the introduction of an ‘AI Trailblazer’ award, aiming to recognise those leading the way in AI by using it to innovate and create measurable impact for their business or wider industry.
Karen Meechan, ScotlandIS CEO, commented: “The Digital Tech Awards is one of the highlights of our calendar, and the calibre of nominees this year is second to none. It’s brilliant to see a shortlist this year that comprises businesses from all over Scotland, from Stornaway to Aviemore, to St Andrews to Hamilton, spanning a range of industries including engineering, health, automotive and the circular economy.
“The finalists are a mix of both our members and companies that are new to us, which makes the awards a great opportunity to have our eyes opened to some of the fantastic players coming on to the scene. I’m thoroughly looking forward to this year’s event, and championing the talented innovators of our sector.”
The Digital Tech Awards judging panel consisted of experts, champions, and influencers from across the digital technology industry.
