ScotlandIS Member Spotlight: Cofficient

In this Member Spotlight we hear from renewing member, Cofficient, on their proud Employee Owned status and remaining part of ScotlandIS to collaborate with like-minded organisations and contribute to driving Scotland’s tech ecosystem forward.

Who is Cofficient and what do you do?

Cofficient Ltd is one of the UK’s most experienced NetSuite partners, helping businesses streamline, modernise, and scale using the world’s leading cloud ERP. We design and implement NetSuite solutions that bring finance, inventory, eCommerce, reporting, and operations into one unified, automated system. Whether it’s multi-entity consolidation, 3PL integration, global tax compliance, or simply replacing disconnected processes, we help companies work smarter, reduce manual effort, and gain real-time visibility across their entire business.

Tell us something unique or interesting about your organisation.

Cofficient is proudly an Employee Owned Trust, which makes us a little different from the typical NetSuite partner. Being employee-owned means everyone in our team has a genuine stake in the success of every project — and our clients feel that commitment. We’re collaborative, accountable, and truly invested in delivering the best outcomes, because the business is quite literally in our hands.

What is your biggest achievement as an organisation?

One of our biggest achievements has been growing Cofficient from just two employees into a thriving, successful Employee Owned business. It’s a journey built on hard work, trust, and a genuine belief that empowering people creates better outcomes for our clients. Today, every team member has a stake in our success — and that shared ownership continues to drive the dedication, quality, and passion we bring to every NetSuite project.

What are the benefits of your continued ScotlandIS membership?

We became a member of ScotlandIS because we’re passionate about being part of Scotland’s thriving digital and technology community. As a NetSuite specialist and Employee Owned business, joining ScotlandIS gives us the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded organisations, share innovation, stay connected to industry developments, and contribute to driving Scotland’s tech ecosystem forward. It’s a natural fit for our values — and for our ambition to support more Scottish businesses on their digital transformation journeys.

What do you see as the main challenges for the tech industry in the UK and Scotland?

One of the biggest challenges facing the tech industry in the UK and Scotland is the growing skills gap — demand for talent continues to outpace supply, especially in areas like cloud, data, cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation. At the same time, businesses are navigating increased economic pressure, making it harder to balance innovation with tight budgets. Add to that rapidly evolving technologies, rising customer expectations, and the need for stronger digital infrastructure, and it’s clear the sector must stay agile. The companies that succeed will be those that invest in people, embrace collaboration, and adapt quickly to change.
