UWS Extends Skills Scholarships Initiative for New Academic Year

University of the West of Scotland (UWS) Centre for Continuing Professional Development is offering fully funded CPD modules to support the professional development needs of Scotland’s workforce.

Following a successful first year of supporting learners to study at no cost via Skills Scholarships, UWS are pleased to announce that this initiative has been extended for the upcoming academic year, with lots of new short courses available.

To be eligible for a UWS Skills Scholarship:

· Applicants must not have previously studied at UWS.

· Must be ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, or the Isle of Man for the three years immediately before the relevant date.

· Must have ‘settled status’ in the UK (as per the Immigration Act 1971) on the relevant date.

· Must be ordinarily resident in Scotland on the relevant date.

The UWS Skills Scholarships initiative allows individuals to access one CPD module from a select catalogue at no cost. Award of a Skills Scholarship is subject to availability and subject to meeting our eligibility criteria.
