Event Details

Join us on 15th September when we will be partnering with Shepherd and Wedderburn for a discussion on Migration Policy post-Brexit.

Moving forward, people who want to live and work in the UK will be able to apply for a visa under one of three routes: the Skilled Worker route, the Global Talent route, or the Start-up and Innovator route. In addition, post-Brexit Home Office plans would require migrant workers to earn at least £25,600 a year to be able to work in the UK. A recent survey has suggested that 63% of Scots wanted migration to be a devolved area, so that Scotland could be best placed to meet the needs of business.

At this event, we will focus on the new proposals by the UK Government and how they will affect Scotland and the workforce.

We will be joined by a panel of experts:

  • Jane Morrison-Ross, CEO of ScotlandIS
  • Jacqueline Moore, Head of Immigration at Shepherd and Wedderburn
  • Dr Sarah Kyambi, Migration Policy Scotland
  • Etzali Hernandez, Code Your Future

Our panellists will discuss some of the new proposals and what it means for your business, as well as answering any questions that you may have relating to Migration.
