As part of the Global Autism Awareness Week (28 March – 3 April 2022), Auticon are offering to deliver an awareness-generation webinar, to organisations, free of charge. This fits with their social mission and helps to stimulate awareness and explain how neurodiversity can reap benefits for society and within the workplace.
Auticon is a social enterprise, that trains and employs autistic adults as quality assurance analysts and hires experienced tech consultants to work on complex projects. They specialise in software testing, automation, software development, data analytics, AI, cyber security, and more.
The webinar is the 1st module of their foundation level training. The aim of the training is to clarify the language around neurodiversity and normalise the conversations that employers and employees may need to have to ensure neurodivergent talent feel fully supported at work.
It also explores the cognitive advantages that individuals with neurodivergent conditions (autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia) bring to the workplace, and how employers can effectively utilise this inherent talent.
You can view all training modules and find out more information here, or get in touch with maria.hamilton@auticon.co.uk.
