Congratulations to ScotlandIS Head of Cyber, Ciara Mitchell, who is now a board trustee for ACE IT Scotland.
ACE IT is an Edinburgh charity which helps older people learn and stay up to date on digital skills.
Ciara has stated that: ” Society as a whole is going through a huge digital transformation and it is really important that this journey is inclusive of older generations, so that they can remain connected to the community and benefit from the many opportunities that this digital era brings.”
ACE IT staff and volunteers support people over 50 to use computers and other digital devices through tailored 1:1 coaching, mentoring and class based training.
