The UK FinTech Mission to Switzerland, organised by Scottish Development International (SDI) and the Department for International Trade (DIT), is an excellent opportunity for UK companies looking to expand their business in the Swiss market.
This mission will offer 10 UK businesses the opportunity to pitch their solutions and to host a one-hour roundtable discussion with their potential clients.
Themes: We will recruit two UK companies (one from Scotland and one from the rest of the UK) per theme 1) Green FinTech, 2) Wealth Management, 3) Payment for Retail, 4) Cyber and 5) Space.
Deep-dive roundtable discussions: TwoUK companies (per theme) will be allocated their own deeper dive roundtable, on which their buyers, investors and experts will be seated. The discussion can have any focus, be it regulatory, technical, ethical or challenges faced. This is an opportunity to build deeper business relationships as well as to benefit from fact finding about the Swiss market.
Location: Zurich (City Centre)
Selection process: The two-stage selection process will involve SDI and DIT teams as well as a panel of experts, taking into account the preferences of potential clients who will be attending the events.
