Using tech to tackle climate change – we want to hear from you

Climate change is disrupting ecosystems, jeopardising biodiversity, food and water security, and the future of life on our planet.

At the same time, the emergence of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and many others are changing how governments, businesses and individuals act, bringing opportunities for innovation and new solutions.

A rapidly emerging industry, Climate Tech is already globally recognised as using data-driven innovation to enable communities, companies and governments to understand their risk and exposure to the effects of climate change, and act to adapt and become resilient.

ScotlandIS are working with Skills Development Scotland to research the data and digital skills that will be critical going forward. Whether this is tuning predictive models or innovating to reduce impact, we need to understand more about the role data and digital skills will play in tackling climate change.

Help us to shape the workforce needed to combat climate change by sparing a moment to complete this survey.
